I normally don’t write reviews unless I am very impressed or there something important folks should know before purchasing. This dress was GREAT! The construction was very impressive, the material was of the best quality, and I wasn’t very excited about this one until I put it on. The fit was perfect I am 5’2 and 132lbs (it’s the muscle), the chest was perfect( 34c) the waist, the elegant length, all of this was great. I have a bigger back and should have got a 6 for this reason.Had an issue with the fit. The dress rides up when I walk.I absolutely loved the fit of this dress, however, I must have gotten a bad one because the entire seat seam ripped while I was wearing it for the first time. And no, the dress wasn't too small or tight. In fact, I had sized up. Very disappointed because again it was so beautiful. Will be returning for a refund.This runs very small.. I typically wear a 6, I ordered an 8 because of the reviews and it was still too small. Would most likely need a 10. The dress also had a terrible odor, kind of like a Chinese Restaurant. I did return the dress and did not order a larger size. The dress was very pretty and seemed to be of decent quality. The tag did not say LivelyFirst, Im a bit of a snob with designer labels and hadnt heard of the brand, but must say beautifully made dress!would be stunning on a slim, small busted woman . i typically wear a size 4 in elllie tahari, calvin klein (sometimes even size 2), but this 4 is SNUG. looks flattering except the chest is flattened more than id like. i just dontt want to go through the hassle of altering the 6, but someone with more time and energy might do that :-)What a stunning dress! I am usually a size 4, (5'5" 120 lbs). I ordered both a size 4 and a size 6. The size 4 fit, but was snug for me around the hips. The size 6 fits perfectly...just like a (comfortable) glove. It seems the only difference is a scooch more in the hips. The rest of the dress, fit the same as the 4. Hope this helps someone who is in between.very tight everywhere and high neck is tight. I am a size 4-6 so bought size 6 & its much too small.The dress fit mostly as expected. My daughter is quite petite through the torso and a bit more curvy through the hip. Overall, a lovely dress for a variety of occasions.This is a very well made dress and a beautiful colour. Unfortunately it fits very small and I have to return it. I’m 5’4 130 lb and it was way to small.
